Our Constitution: 
1.1 The Sacred Heart Community is a new expression of community, learning from the itinerant and mendicant traditions, whilst embracing modernity within the 21st century.
1.2 We have developed over several years of discernment, growing from a Project 2030 twentysomethings group based in London. At present the official term for us is:
“a Lay Community with a view of being erected in the future as a female Religious Institution of diocesan rights“.
This means that we hope to become a female religious order in the future, but for now are learning from other communities, growing as a lay community within the Dehonian family through the Holy Spirit . Our step into the deep pushes boundaries and comfort zones, whilst remaining true to the Catholic Churches teachings and doctrine.
1.3 Aspects of this constitution may develop as growth takes place over the coming years - Gods plans are rarely the same as our own.
