Part 1: Faithful to Leo Dehon's vision 
1.4 The founder of the Dehonian family, Fr Leo Dehon, lived his life as a witness of love and servants of reconciliation to mankind and the world. We, as part of this family, aim to live these same principles in Britain.
1.5 The perfection of Love as summed up in ‘Perfectae Caritasis’ is our benchmark. Through the Eucharist and living our faith, we try to become witnesses of love, displaying charity and encouraging self sacrifice whilst our actions try to bring His heart to His world, offering love and reconciliation, reuniting the broken with the redeemer.
1.6 Like Fr Dehon, we recognize that the love shown by Jesus is the source of our salvation. He accepted death as the final gift of life as an act of obedience to His Father. It is from the Heart of Jesus opened on the cross that the man with the new heart is brought forth.
1.7 Through the community, love for our Father and our world, through grace continues to grow. This is realised in a total and joyous companionship with the person of Jesus.
