A poem, a prayer,         a prophercy (in part).

A surf trip, a pit stop,  a tug at the heart.

Some kind of catwalk for God’s new Clothes,  too much coffee, a diary, Deja vu.

A mirror on the wall, a body waking from sleep, blinking, stretching,

what shall we do?

A bucket, a spade, a mustard seed ,

a snap shot, romance?

pilgrims on a journey, a video, a voyage, a big fat bass amp to make me dance.

Writing on the wall, my own private twister,

a smile, living on the edge of a knife.

An answer in search of a question,

worldwide wishing, meditation, declaration

A meaning to life!

(Vision and the Vow, Pete Greig)

Who are we:

The Sacred Heart Community is a new expression of community, learning from the itinerant and mendicant traditions; embracing modernity whilst loving life as a Catholic in Britain in the 21st Century.

At present the official term for us is:

“a Lay Community with a view of being erected in the future as a female

Religious Institution of diocesan rights“.
